Our Process
What to expect
If you have been thinking about creating a hidden room in your home, the first thing we do is start a conversation about the purpose of the room. Is a hidden room for an antique gun collection, a wine cellar or possibly a safe room to retreat to in case of home invasion? Depending on the use of the room we can start the process of finding the right plan for your project.
1. Plan & Design
We will come to your home and look at the possibilities of creating the perfect hidden room. We determine the amount of space we will need to create inside your home to make the right kind of room for your needs. We can help you choose which style of hidden doorway you like and make sure it will be compatible with your particular space.
2. Choosing Materials
We partner with Creative Home Engineering for many of our hidden door systems, but we also can show you a variety of doors including Murphy doors, and specialty hidden doors from Tactical Walls as well. We make sure the purpose of the room is reflected in the type of door you choose whether it is a style choice or security issue.
Building Phase
During the construction of your hidden room we come to your home with trucks and trailers that only feature remodeling & window replacement advertising on the sides to ensure your complete privacy from neighbors knowing you are having this safety feature added to your home. It is important to us that you feel secure in the knowledge only your most trusted friends and family (should you choose to tell them) will know you have a hidden safe room in your home.
