About Us
Far North was started in 2001 by local, Alaskan carpenter turned business owner Gene Martin and his wife Elaine. Joining the team is Adam Hartig, who obtained a college degree in design and has been an award winning designer in Chicago before returning to his home state of Alaska to help clients create the kitchens and baths they’ve always wanted.
It is our mission to help you fall in love with your home again by transforming your space into a place of beauty and functionality for the whole family. We focus on the details so you don’t have to with our low stress process, honed over years of experience remodeling Alaskan homes for our clients.
